The Role
We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer to define how AI transforms the way millions of people share ideas.
At Gamma, design isn’t just a function—it’s at the heart of how we innovate. You’ll play a critical role in shaping AI-powered experiences, prototyping cutting-edge products and features, and pushing the boundaries of AI-driven content creation. With seven designers on a team of fewer than 30 people, we have an exceptionally high designer-to-employee ratio, underscoring our belief that design is a key driver of innovation.
This is a rare opportunity to invent new paradigms in an emerging field, work alongside a deeply technical and experimental design team, and bring AI-driven storytelling to a massive global audience. In this role, you'll be responsible for:
What You’ll Own & Drive
  • How AI Works in Gamma: Own the design strategy and execution for end-to-end AI workflows and experiences. You'll make human-AI collaboration a seamless interaction that empowers people.
  • Technical Design & Prototyping: Work closely with engineering to rapidly prototype AI-powered features, pushing production-ready code alongside our technical design team.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product, engineering, and research teams to drive AI design from concept to launch, balancing usability, feasibility, and business impact.
  • Scaling Our Design Culture: Help shape the next evolution of our design-first product approach, ensuring Gamma continues to lead in innovation.
Who You Are
  • A Deep Thinker & Doer: You love to challenge conventional design patterns and rethink how AI can elevate user experiences.
  • Highly Technical: You can write code and produce magical prototypes, working seamlessly with engineers to bring your vision to life.
  • AI-Curious & Experiment-Driven: You thrive in the ambiguity of AI and are excited to define best practices in an emerging field.
  • A True Collaborator: You communicate your ideas clearly and work well across teams, driving alignment while advocating for users.
What You Bring
  • 5+ years of experience in product design, with a strong emphasis on AI-driven solutions.
  • Proficiency in front-end development (React, JavaScript, TypeScript, or similar), with a portfolio of production-ready prototypes.
  • Curiosity and openness to experiment with cutting-edge technologies, AI-powered interfaces, conversational UI, or machine-learning-driven experiences.
  • Ability to move fluidly between strategic thinking and hands-on execution.
  • A history of pushing the boundaries of what's possible and enthusiasm about doing it again with AI.

Compensation
Salary: The cash compensation for this role ranges from $200k to $260k.
Equity: In addition to the base salary, equity is part of the total compensation package.

Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors such as experience and expertise in the requirements listed above.
